. The picture on the left shows me, Brian McEleney,
hand- lettering as an employee at Whalom Park in
the 1970's. On the right, I'm adding the final
touches to some gilded letters on the Johnsonia
Building under a downtown revitalization program in
August of 2000. Before vinyl letters and sign
plotters were conceived years of hard work and
practice went into developing the art of hand
lettering, gilding, carving and other sign-related
skills, which we still retain today and are useful in
many applications such as pinstriping,outlining,
murals, glass gilding,resident signs,etc.
